Frequently asked questions
- What is the Provider Referral Network?
- A referral network connecting practitioners across clinical and wellness disciplines, and a way for consumers to find one. It is a service of Provider Back Office.
- Does it cost anything to request a consultation?
- No. Consultation requests are free for consumers and carry no obligation.
- Are practitioners verified or credentialed by the network?
- No. Listings are written and maintained by each practitioner. Inclusion is not a credential check, licence verification, endorsement or recommendation. Confirm licensure directly with the relevant state licensing board.
- How much does it cost a practitioner to join?
- Membership is $99 a month and includes credits. Credits can be topped up at ten cents each.
- How do credits work?
- Referring a client out earns credits. Claiming a referral spends them. Because both use the same currency, a practitioner who refers out as much as they take in spends little or nothing.
- What is the affiliate programme?
- Practitioners receive 30% of the membership payment from anyone they invite, for as long as that member stays. Regional managers receive a further 20% override on everyone their affiliates invite.
- Who sees my details when I request a consultation?
- The practitioner you are matched with, so they can contact you directly. Submitting the form does not create a practitioner–client relationship.
- How are reviews handled?
- Reviews are submitted by clients and published at the practitioner’s discretion, so a practitioner may address feedback before it appears.
